Borah vs. Rocky: Basketball Battle For Number One

Not often do we get an early season preview of a title game in high school basketball but that's exactly the case tonight at Borah High School.

The Lions are ranked no.1 in boys 5A Idaho high school basketball with an 8-0 record. Right behind them in the number two spot is 8-1 Rocky Mountain.

The two collide tonight at Borah, 7:30 pm tip-off with "live" radio coverage on Sports Radio The Fan Boise 105.5fm and 630am.

Rocky Mountain's only loss this year was 96-94 to Wasatch Academy of Utah and they have otherwise dominated the competition.

The Grizzlies have beaten Boise 62-34, Mountain View 71-28 and Timberline 75-24.

Borah has also had some blowout wins beating Highland of Pocatello 60-37, Capital 59-38 and Mountain View 52-32.

So, what to expect tonight in the Lions Den? That's the million dollar question and what a capacity crowd is expected to see as these two high school Goliath's bring in the new year.
