Taking the Next Step
Thousands of participants who participated in the 2018 Fit One 5K, 10K and half marathon's this past August will be happy to know that their suffering was for a good cause.
On Nov. 29, under foggy skies and in front of KTVB cameras, FitOne granted St. Lukes an over-sized check for $100,000 dollars to benefit their youth health and wellness programs. The money was raised by entrance fees for those willing to participate in this past August's races.
"It's great how money from people enthusiastic about maintaining their healthy lifestyle right NOW can really help encourage that in the future," a FitOne representative said after the presentation. "It's a really powerful connection."
Stay tuned for more information regarding FitOne 2019 in the very near future.
