It was a wire-to-wire victory for Idaho (2-4) as the Vandals took down the Eagles of West Coast Baptist, 98-44 Tuesday night in Memorial Gym.

The Vandals jumped out to a 9-0 advantage and never looked back.  Idaho led from start to finish, getting up 50-20 at the break and coasting to the 98-44 win. In all six Vandals players finished in double figures and head coach Don Verlin was able to play his entire bench.

Cameron Tyson led the way for Idaho yet again, finishing with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Tyson now has 102 points after just six games.  By comparison, All-time leading scorer, Orlando Lightfoot, accomplished the feat in five games. Tyson might well be off to a special Idaho career.

The Vandals now hit the road for a game at North Dakota. Pre-Game at 1:30p.m. Saturday, tipoff at 2 p.m. on sports radio 630 The Fan.
