SIC Teams Dominate 5A Girls Basketball

The first regular season 5A girls high school basketball poll has been released and SIC teams from the Treasure Valley dominate the top 5.

Mountain View received 7 of 9 first place votes to rank 1st followed by Eagle who received the other two first place votes. Both teams are 5-0.

Meridian and Lake City are tied for third with Boise 5th at 5-2. The Braves beat Centennial last night 72-43.

Century of Pocatello leads the 4A standings with Middleton second. Both teams are 4-0.

Parma and Gooding made the 3A top 5 at 4th and 5th respectively while Melba at 4-1 ranks 5th in the 2A top 5.
