No All-Star Starters For The Boise Hawks

Boise and Memorial Stadium will host the Northwest league vs. Pioneer League Baseball All-Star game Tuesday August 6th.

Today the All-Star rosters were released and the Boise Hawks failed to place a single player in the starting lineup.

In fact while all eight teams in the NW League are represented, Boise had the second fewest players named to the overall roster with just three. Vancouver also had three with the Tri-City Dist Devils providing just two All-Stars. The Spokane Indians had five players named.

Reagan Todd and Jacob Wallace of the Hawks are reserve pitchers while Boise infielder Aaron Shunk is also a reserve. Shunk is the one Boise player with an argument to be in the starting lineup

Shunk is batting .329 for the season with 50 hits, the second most hits in the NW League..
