There were some serious kudos from a national radio host today for former Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore, now the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys.

Rich Eisen, who airs Monday-Friday 10am to 1pm on Sports radio 630 The Fan compared Moore to Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay.

Eisen said from inside sources with the Cowboys he's been told the reason Moore got the OC job was because the Dallas hierarchy felt Moore was the next McVay,

McVay is considered one of the brightest coaches in the NFL and at 30, the youngest head coach in modern NFL history. McVay was also the Associated Press NFL coach of the year.

That's some lofty praise for Moore who turned 30 just this month. Eisen telling his audience that one person with ties to the Cowboys told him "We've got our McVay!"

Meantime Moore did a quick interview with the Dallas media yesterday and really didn't say much except admitting the new job means he has to talk more, both to players and the media.

Eisen just part of the 630 The Fan Fox lineup of Clay Travis, Dan Patrick, Doug Gotleib and Colin Cowherd.
