Boise Boys Soccer Stays Perfect

One thing in Treasure Valley sports you can always count on is for Boise High to be a leader in soccer.

This year not only are the Brave boys the leader in soccer, they remain perfect despite a Monday struggle with Centennial.

Boise beat the Patriots 3-2 improving to 12-0 overall and 5-0 in league. Centennial is now 3-1 in league 7-2-1 overall and tied with Rocky Mountain in the conference standings after the Grizzlies beat Skyview 3-1.

Timberline, another perennial power in Treasure valley soccer beat Mountain View 4-1, improving to 4-1 in league and thus moving into second place behind Boise.

Meantime in girls soccer Timberline is leading the 5A standings at 4-0 and will host Mountain View tonight. Boise is also unbeaten in league at 3-0 and will entertain Centennial tonight.

FYI, Boise's overall record is the best in 5A SIC at 8-1-1 but then that's not a news flash.

Combined the Boise boys and girls overall 2019 soccer record is currently 20-1-1
