Lost Acres Motorcycle Park no Secret in 2018
It's been around since the 70's but now, with a new permit in hand from Canyon County, Lost Acres Motorcycle Park is officially the Treasure Valley’s newest motorcycle flat track race venue. Lost Acres is located just east of Melba at 10750 Can Ada Road and features 2 flat dirt cushion tracks- a 4/10 mile TT and 1/5 mile oval for racing motorcycles and quads. A TT track has left turns, right turns, elevation change and a jump, with speeds up to 80 mph on the straightaway, making for an exciting viewing experience.
There will be up to 10 paid public events between April 1 and October 31 annually, with the season opening race on April 28, 2018. Motorcycles racing will be from vintage 70s to the newest models, with classes ranging from kids to amateur to pro. Lost Acres is a located on a family farm where informal tracks have been in use since the early 70s. 3 years ago, area pros rode the track and were so impressed with the conditions that they asked about holding races and Lost Acres was born. Canyon County approved a conditional use permit in the fall of 2017, paving the way for the 2018 season.
