The Boise Hawks go into the NW League All-Star break with back-to-back wins over the weekend. Saturdays 5-3 win over Salem-Keizer snapped a 10 game losing skid and then last night the Hawks beat the Volcanoes 10-4.

Idaho scored 10 runs on 14 hits including 3 runs in the 8th after Salem-Keizer closed the gap to 7-4. .

Leading the way for the Hawks were J.B. Moss and LJ Hatch. Moss went 4-5 on the night with four singles, two RBI, and three runs scored. Hatch picked up his first two pro hits to go along with his first pro RBI. Hawks starter Nick Kennedy earned his first professional win after a dazzling start. He went five innings and allowed just one run on five hits while striking out two.

The Hawks have just two more home-stands remaining in the 2017 season. They will play eight games at home in August, and three in September.

Following tomorrows NW League All-Star game the Hawks open a 5 game series at Tri-City Thursday and won't be home again until August 8th.
