As The Crowe Flies so Goes Skyview
The final weekend of the regular season in high school football produced a very special individual effort, the numbers of which defy belief.
The first time I saw Crowe in action was in a game against Eagle. He scored 7 touchdowns that night and rushed for over 300 yards. It was the best individual effort I'd ever seen in high school football. This past weekend Crowe out did himself.
In a game against Meridian, with Skyview needing a win to secure a playoff berth, Crowe had 606 all purpose yards, 457 yards rushing and 7 touchdowns.
He was a one man wrecking ball as he thrashed the Meridian defense time and time over leading his Hawks to victory and stamping their playoff road trip to Post Falls.
Skyview made the jump from 4A to 5A and became an immediate factor in the 5A SIC race and now they have a chance to shake the playoff brackets.
Skyview at Post Falls, Meridian at Madison, Lewiston at Eagle and Capital vs. Borah at Dona Larsen Park (here on 630 The Fan) all Friday night as the race for state kicks off the 2018 playoffs.
