Regular Season Ends For High School Football
Can you believe we've already reached the final regular season week of high school football?
It all starts tonight with a pair of games, one of which showcases the #1 team in the state, the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. The Grizzlies host Borah and it's the 630 The Fan game of the week, special Thursday night edition.
Rocky Mountain is 8-0 and they've already wrapped up a playoff spot, a first round bye and home field advantage until the championship game.
Borah has been fighting key injuries, the most notable being quarterback Jake Standlee but the Lions are playoff bound and can be seeded as high as 2nd with a win over Rocky.
Can the Grizzlies post a rare 9-0 season record? Join me tonight at 7 exclusively on sports radio 630 The Fan.
Tonight's other 5A game pairs Capital-Boise at Dona Larsen Park. Also tonight, Ridgevue will be at Bishop Kelly. The Knights are 6-1, tied with Middleton and Nampa atop the 4A SIC standings.
In fact, here is a look at the current state media poll as we head into the final regular season week of action.
