The College of Idaho basketball team didn't get a win Thursday night in Logan, Utah but they'll be better for the experience.

Facing just their fourth nationally-ranked NCAA Division I opponent in program history, the College of Idaho opened quickly against 17-ranked Utah State jumping to a 12-11 lead midway through the first half but then the Aggies hit their stride.

Utah State went on a 20-2 run and never looked back beating the Yotes 103-66 in an exhibition game for both teams.

Utah Sate, the preseason Mountain West Conference favorite made 61-percent of their field goals and out rebounded the Coyotes 49-32.

USU used their size and strength to build a 75-35 lead, the biggest of the night.

The College of Idaho, ranked 3rd in the NAIA Preseason poll is officially 2-0 on the year and will play Utah Valley tomorrow night in yet another exhibition game.
