San Jose State Actually Plays Football
Boise State doesn't have to play Fresno State or San Diego State this year from the Mountain West's West Division, instead they get San Jose State.
The Broncos and Spartans are set to meet November 2nd in San Jose and at the beginning of the year it appeared BSU would win that game by just showing up.
Last Saturday however San Jose State let everyone know they still play a little football by winning at Arkansas. Granted the Razorbacks struggled to beat Portland State 20-13 and it's not the Arkansas of old but still the Spartans did manage to win in Fayetteville.
Tonight we'll get a better idea of the Spartan game when they play at Air Force in a Mountain West Conference showdown. The Falcons are favored by 18 points.
The game will be televised by the CBS Sports Network.
Other conference games tomorrow include Colorado State at Utah State. The Aggies are favored by 24.
Hawaii is at Nevada where the Pack is favored by just 2-points. Normally the home team gets 3-points just for being home so this game is pretty much a push. One thing about Hawaii over the years, they play much better on the Island than the mainland..
Also tomorrow UNLV is at Wyoming against a hard to figure Cowboy team that beat Missouri of the SEC then struggled with Idaho. Still Wyoming is tough in Laramie.
Boise State is idle but will keep a close eye on the game in Laramie because next week the Broncos are in Vegas against UNLV.
Other regional games of interest tomorrow are Southern Cal at Washington and Washington State at Utah.
The Trojans and Huskies are both Top 25 while the UTES and Cougars are both trying to rebound from losses. Especially Washington State's monumental 32 point collapse to UCLA in Pullman.
