Boise State senior point guard Chandler Hutchison will enter his name in the NBA draft. However he has not hired an agent and that means he can remain eligible to return to Boise State for his senior season.

Hutchison says playing in the NBA is a goal that drives him everyday and this is just a step towards making that goal a reality. Hutchison averaged 17.4 points per game  and 7.8 rebounds a contest while shooting better than 49% from the field.

The 6-7 point guard is the first Bronco to record 500 points 250 rebounds and 75 assists in the same season and he was an All Mountain West first team pick.

Hutchison says he was informed by Boise State coaches that NBA teams were showing an interest and felt he needed to be evaluated to find out where he truly stands.

Hutchison now becomes a candidate to earn an invite to the NBA Draft Combine May 9-14 in Chicago. By rule, Hutchison has 10 days from the completion of the combine to withdraw his name, that deadline is May 24th.
