Cue The Nostalgia: Idaho’s Largest LEGO Convention Hits Boise This Month
If you don't like LEGOs, you're probably a parent who's stepped on a few and I totally get it. Is the pain comparable to childbirth? Close. But really, LEGOs are awesome. Three hit theatrical releases about the beloved building blocks are a true testament to how much kids and adults alike love them. Even if you weren't great at following the directions on the box to make the ship or the dinosaur or whatever cool thing was on the box (totally raising my hand on this), you still found a way to build something fun and exciting, like robot boyfriends for your Barbie dolls or wannabe Power Rangers Zords. MOCFEST is coming to celebrate that.
"When you build something out of your own imagination using LEGO brick, you are creating a MOC...My Own Creation! Come and see some of the best builders from around the Treasure Valley, Idaho, and the PNW. You will not believe what you can build with the simple building block we all love. Celebrate all things BRICK!" -Idaho Lego Users Group
MOCFEST, Idaho's largest LEGO convention, is July 24th and 25th; from 10am to 6pm & 10am to 3pm respectively. ABU Games is powering the event which will take place at their store. There will be several displays and activities for you to enjoy for free. So bring the kiddos and be equal parts amazed and inspired by these impressive creations. And be grateful you won't be barefoot in the middle of the night stumbling over them on your way to the bathroom.
