The NCAA announced today Boise State will host first and second round NCAA tournament basketball games in 2021, that in addition to hosting first and second round games in 2018.

The 2021 tournament will mark the 10th time Boise State has hosted first and second round action and means Boise will be one of just five locations to host NCAA Tournament action twice between 2018 and 2021, the other four are Dallas, Omaha, Wichita and Detroit.

BSU Athletic Director Curt Apsey said today "This community supports the event and our staff does a phenomenal job of putting it on. The NCAA obviously recognizes that by bringing the tournament back to Boise in not only 2018 but now 2021 as well."

2021 also is the year the Mountain West conference will host the West Regional in Denver. The final four in 2021 will be held in Indianapolis.
