Boise State’s Kelsey Broadus and Alison Seng have been named the Mountain West Conference Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week.

The pair led Boise State to a 4-1 overall record at the NorCal Kickoff last weekend in Davis and Sacramento, California. This marks the second time in her career that Broadus has been named MW Pitcher of the Week and the third time that Seng has earned MW Player of the Week.

Broadus won all three games in which she pitched with both starts shutouts. In fact she did not allow a run and finished with an ERA of 0.00. In 12.2 innings pitched, she surrendered five hits and four walks, struck out 19 of 47 batters faced, tying for the second-most strikeouts in the league on the week.

Seng finished the five game stretch with a batting average of .563 with nine hits, seven RBIs, two doubles, one triple and one home run.
