Boise State Great Ryan Clady Retires

Ryan Clady, arguably the most talented NFL player Boise State has ever produced has retired from pro football.

Clady spent 9 seasons in the NFL and was a Pro-Bowler four times and an all All-Pro first team selection twice. He was Boise States first ever 1st round NFL draft pick in 2008.

Clady was a starting offensive tackle for BSU from 2005-2007 and went to another set of Broncos in Denver. Clady started every game the first five years of his NFL career before injuries became an issue ultimately forcing today retirement.

Denver traded Clady to the Jets were he played in 9 games last season. Denver bronco great John Elway tweeted today calling Clady as dominant an offensive lineman as there was in the NFL.

At Boise State Clady was a first team All-American on several polls and provided a key block in Boise States 2007 Fiesta Bowl Statue of Liberty play that led to a win over Oklahoma.

Clady tweeted today he is excited for what life holds for him going forward.
