It wasn't a record but it was another top 5 viewer finish for a Boise State game in the Las Vegas Bowl.

3.8 million folks tuned in to watch the Broncos beat Oregon 38-28. The top drawing Vegas Bowl involving Boise State was in 2012 when 5.4 million watched BSU beat Washington. The next best was the BSU-Utah Vegas Bowl with 4.4 million viewers.

Vegas has been good to the Broncos not only in TV viewership but in wins, the Broncos are 4-0 having beaten Oregon, Utah, Washington and Arizona State. I wonder if the PAC 12 has taken note?

The Vegas Bowl had the best potential matchup of any early Bowl game this season and could well compete against some of the marque games this New Years weekend.

On the other hand, the Vegas Bowl was really the only choice back on December 16th and that translates into viewers and that results in new fans for Boise State.

Friday Utah State is the final Mountain West team to play a bowl game as the Aggies face New Mexico State in the Arizona Bowl. It's one of 5 Bowl games tomorrow including the Cotton Bowl between USC and Ohio State.
