Vandals get Local Commitments

Wide receiver Harrison Ashby of Capital High school has given his verbal commitment to play football at the University of Idaho.

Ashby a basketball standout as well, is 6-4 225lbs and as a senior with the Eagles caught 34 passes for 578yds and 5 touchdowns helping Capital reach the 5A Title game against Mountain View.

Ashby was a 5A All Idaho First team selection at tight end, the same position he is expected to play for the Vandals.

Earlier this year Eagle lineman Maxim Moore committed to Idaho
