Summer has been in full swing for a couple of months now, and I musty say, there are some hooves and talons roaming about town that beg the question: Why haven't you gotten a pedicure, giiirrrl? I hate to judge, but if your feet are being showcased in sandals, best they look like feet and not dusty crusty rocks assembled to look like feet. Then I realized I had some nerve thinking this considering I haven't had a pedicure in a year. It was a pandemic! I took care of them the best I could, but it was time for professional help.

Deciding on a whim to get a pedicure today with a small window of time in which to make it happen, I hit the Google machine and searched "pedicure near me.' Closest one was Angel Nails & Spa. Out of 72 reviews, it's got a 3.9 out of 5 star rating. Not bad at all. 2Q Nail and Spa boasts a 4.4 rating and was equidistant to my location. But I like an underdog story, so I decided to give the Angel Nails & Spa website a look.

Wrong. That little 'website' button that pops up for it leads to nowhere. They don't have the domain. But I'm not a quitter, so I called and asked if they take walk-ins. Despite being a bit busy, I was told they could fit me in for a pedicure. So I drove over and it's nestled next to a liquor store! Perfection, I know.

The facility was organized, fresh, clean, and service was excellent. I can't stand small talk and there was none of that. Right to business with the spa pedicure. Judge Judy was playing on a big TV on the wall. It was 45 minutes of bliss. Highly recommend. Maria was my pedicurist and left my feet looking so good, I know the men will be crawling into my DMs once they catch a glimpse of my toes in my summer sandals on Instagram.

However, if you're looking a really upscale spa setting for your pedicure, this isn't the place for you. It's perfectly lovely, relaxing, and efficient. But it's not like a spa you'd find in a fancy hotel or anything.
