As a broadcaster you always hope the game you are calling is close and exciting. Last Tuesday Rocky Mountain won a thriller on 630 The Fan 58-55 over Boise.

Friday night we had another potential buzzer beater as Capital played at Centennial both teams in the top 10. At halftime Capital led by 22 points and in the third quarter it was a 23 point margin for the Eagles. This is where I begin to lose interest. Understand, I don't care who wins I just love high school sports and great games. This wasn't turning out so great.

All of a sudden Centennial began to hit shots, then more shots and before you knew it the game was tied 58-58. I was interested again. The Patriots went on to the win the game 64-61 completing the biggest comeback I've ever broadcast in high school basketball. Remember, in Idaho high school hoops if a team has a 30pt lead in the final period they use a running clock. Capital was 7pts from forcing a running clock instead, the clock ran out.

Don't forget Friday night another Taco Bell game of the week on Sports radio 630 The Fan, your home for high school sports.
