Boise State junior Chandler Hutchison has withdrawn his name from NBA Draft consideration and will play his senior season with Boise State.

The news was part of a roller coaster type day in the Bronco basketball offices. First there was the announcement that sophomore Paris Austin had asked for and was given a release from the Boise State basketball program. Austin who averaged 12.3 points per game will now look to transfer and will have two years to play elsewhere.

That meant Boise State was looking at potentially losing some 30 points a game in offense if Hutchison, who averages nearly 18 points per game left for the NBA.

Shortly after the Austin news release Boise State announced that Hutchison was withdrawing his name from the NBA Draft and would be back for his senior season.

The 6-7 forward said the NBA evaluations went well but that the NBA was a grown mans sport and he felt there was more work to do and best to do it by staying at Boise State.

Hutchison is the first player in BSU history to score 500 points, pull down 200 rebounds and hand out 75 assists in one season.
