Hutchison Bounces Head on the Court in Loss to Iowa State

Boise State men's basketball coach Leon Rice didn't hesitate, he pulled the Broncos star player, Chandler Hutchison after the senior fell backwards going for a rebound and pounded his head on the court.
The incident happened early in the Broncos game against Iowa State in the championship game of the Puerto Rico tipoff tournament Sunday evening.
Coach Rice played the better safe than sorry card choosing not to mess with a head injury even though the Broncos needed every player if they were to beat Iowa State.
The Cyclones took advantage of Boise States shock at losing Hutchison and built a 24 point lead.
Now, with their leader on the bench and cheering them on Boise State hit 9 of 11 three pointers in the second have and with less than two minutes to play Iowa States lead was only 64-60.
However, Iowa State made their free throws down the stretch and won 75-64. It was the Broncos first loss of the season but proved they could be competitive with any team even with their leading scorer and senior leader on the bench.
No official word on Hutchison's availability for Loyola Marymount Saturday at Taco Bell arena tipoff 7 p.m. but he will most likely play.
