Idaho Boys and The “Jay-Train” Shine in Sunday Night Cowboys Eagles Finale
Boise State Football was pretty damn good a few years ago and you can see why on primetime football Sunday night. I think we totally forget that we were in the presence of perfection and a lot of us took it for granted. More on Boise is back, Mountain champs, and details on the Mountain West Championship game later.
I didn't realize that most of the Dallas defensive line was made of Boise State Broncos. They had a very tough task tonight and that to stop recently traded from Miami, jay Ajayi a former BSU star running back. I haven't been paying too much attention but heard that he didn't fit the Miami squad very well. The "Jay-Train" rolled through Dallas Sunday night and he seems to be doing just fine. The Eagles are #1 and the hottest team in the NFL right now. Jay is running all over those Cowboys tonight and will rack up over 100 yards tonight and led in his debut last week.
Great to see our Idaho squad killing' it and hopefully Kellen Moore comes off the practice squad to land somewhere.
I wrote this not just to highlight some Boise State boys but more importantly the legacy. Boise State is on fire right now and will head to Fresno next week. They will be playing Fresno in the Mountain West championship game which means they play twice. The crowd was in full force on Saturday night as they rolled over and dominated Air Force 44-19.
This BSU team is young and the next few years look great! The Boise fans can be difficult sometimes on support especially when the Broncos lose. I would assume that because we're not used to losing right? That's not the case now as the Broncos winning streak is at 7. The Broncos lost to Washington State in triple OT, and to Virginia who took to #3 Miami until the second half. These Broncos are definitely on a roll! What's next?
BSU plays Fresno next week and if BSU wins - we play on the blue. Witness and watch greatness because it won't last long as the students graduate and a new crew comes in. Tickets are already on sale assuming we have the game here. If Boise doesn't play host to the Mountain West Championship tickets will be refunded back to your credit cards.
