Eagle Softball Climbs to Lucky 13th in USA Today Poll

First of all it's not easy to get national high school sports recognition if you compete in Idaho. Somehow the Eagle High School softball team not only earned their way into the Top 25 last year they've done it again this year.

The USA Today Super Softball Top 25 has Eagle ranked 13th, that's up a pair notches from the first poll of the season.

Eagle is now 14-0-1 on the year, they scored 15 or more runs in 4 games and 10 or more in 9 of their games. The Mustangs are allowing about 1 run per game.

That dominance hasn't gone unnoticed by the National Fast Pitch Softball coaches who vote on the USA Today top 25.
