
Dahl Nets a Pair as Steelheads Beat Utah
Jefferson Dahl netted his first two goals of the season and Philippe Desrosiers made 33 saves as the Idaho Steelheads (2-1-0) skated to a 3-1 win over the Utah Grizzlies (0-4-0) on Wednesday night at CenturyLink Arena.
Dahl scored both goals 1:19 apart in the first period, and Brady Brassart scored his second goal of the season in the third period to provide the insurance on a night when the Steelheads’ penalty kill went 9-for-9.
Goaltending was the story of the second period, with both Desrosiers making key stops a total of 33 saves on the game.
The Steelheads and Grizzlies continue their series on Friday night at CenturyLink Arena. Puck-drop is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. MT. The two teams will then travel to Salt lake City to play again Saturday night.
