Bouvia of Weiser Idaho’s Best

Once again Lauren Bouvia of Weiser has been named the Gatorade Soccer player of the year in Idaho.

Bouvia did so last year as well after setting a national record with 127 goals in a season. This past year Bouvia scored 98 goals with 26 assists leading Weiser to a 20-2 record and the 3A State semi finals.

Bouvia finished her high school career with 311 goals second best in prep history To give you an idea of just potent a scorer Bouvia is, a "Hat-Trick" three goals in a game is considered great, well Bouvia scored at least 3 goals in every regular season game she player her junior and senior seasons. Thirteen times she scored 5 or more goals in a game.

Bouvia has signed to play college soccer at UC Davis..
