Borah’s Austin Bolt Lights up Statistics
This is a fun time for high school basketball in Idaho. The girls have just begun District Tournament play and the boys are winding down the regular season.
Among the highlights that standout is Mountain Views 20-0 regular season run in girls basketball, Rocky Mountain's 17-1 record on the boys side and the fact Borah star Austin Bolt is averaging a season double double in points and rebounds.
Bolt has helped the Lions to a 14-3 overall record by averaging 15.1 points per game and 11.3 rebounds per contest. Bolt also leads the 5A SIC averaging 1.3 blocked shots per game.

The latest 5A State Media boys basketball poll is as follows: 1. Rocky Mountain 2. Madison, 3.Rigby, 4. Borah, 5. Post Falls.
Meantime, the first round of the Girls 5A District Tournament is tomorrow with 20-0 Mountain View vs. Capital 6 p.m. at Rocky Mountain. Capital beat Centennial in a play in game last night to remain in district play. Centennial's season is done as is Skyview's who lost a play in game at Borah.
Borah advances to face 15-5 Boise tomorrow 6 p.m. at Timberline.
The other first round 5A Girls District games are both at 7:30, Timberline plays Meridian at Rocky Mountain and over at Timberline it's Eagle vs. Rocky Mountain.
