The Boise State men's basketball team used a 23-4 run to start the second half Wednesday night as they beat the Hornets of Alabama State 67-57.

The Broncos trailed by 5 points at the half, their largest halftime deficit of the season.

Justinian Jessup, R.J. Williams, Alex Hobbs and Zach Haney all scored in double figures with Jessup moving into 10th place on the BSU All-Time career three point list.

Jessup made four treys and has 164 career three point makes, one better than Bronco basketball legends Chris Childs and Roberto Bergersen. Next in Jessup's sights is Mike Tolman with 171. By the way, Jessup is the quickest to 164 three point makes in program history.

Meantime, with the win last night Boise State is now 4-5 with three of their five losses by one possession, a total of 7 points. The Broncos now head to Oregon for a showdown with the Ducks, 7 p.m. Saturday. Last year Boise State won in Eugene on a three pointer at the buzzer.

Here is an interesting note...Boise State coach Leon Rice, who has strung together six consecutive 20 game win seasons, is 105-22 in Taco bell arena, a winning percentage of 82.7, the highest of any Boise State basketball coach during BSU's Division I era.
