Boise State Women’s Basketball Gets Oregon Transfer
Mallory McGwire tweeted this week thanking the University of Oregon and her teammates for an amazing two years but added she is thrilled to announce she will be joining Boise State for the remainder of her basketball career.
The 6-5 sophomore, the niece of former baseball slugger Mark McGwire, started 19 games for Oregon last year as the Ducks made it to the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament.
McGwire who will have to sit out the coming season gave no reason for her decision to become a Bronco however the Reno native did play hoops with BSU senior Shalen Shaw in high school.
