Imagine driving into your normally quiet neighborhood to find a full SWAT team. That's what happened today for people living in a neighborhood near Ustick Road in Boise.

A 32 year old man man was cited for a misdemeanor today after a report of gunshots at a house morphed into an hours-long investigation that closed roads and sent a SWAT team into a Boise neighborhood.

Police said the first officer on the scene heard the gunshots and found a man with an AK-47 on the front porch.

Three Boise schools were put into lockdown for about 12 minutes just to be safe but continued their classes as scheduled.

Police weren’t sure at the time if he lives at the house, but they did find multiple bullet holes inside the house.
