Boise Hawks Tied for First Place

The Boise Hawks, Eugene Emeralds and Hillsboro Hops are tied for first place in the South Division of the NW Baseball League. All three are 14-12 and coming off a rare day-off thanks to the All Star game Tuesday,

Tonight the Hawks begin a road swing with a game at Salem Keizer. The Volcanoes are 2 games off the pace in the division but ironically Salem Keizer has the top two hitters in the league.

Manuel Geraldo is batting .352 while teammate Ryan Kirby has a .343 batting average. Kirby also leads the league in RBI with 26.
