The Boise Hawks open their home baseball season tonight hosting the Everett Aquasox. The Hawks opened the season over the weekend with three games at Salem-Keizer, losing all three.

The first two games both went extra innings with the Hawks losing 7-6 in 11 innings on Friday night and then 5-4 Saturday in 12 innings before losing 8-3 last night.

The Volcanoes, apparently done with close games scored 7 runs in the first inning last night to put the game away early.

Everett comes to town with a 2-1 record and is tied with Spokane for the early lead in the NW League's North Division.

The Hawks and Aquasox will play in Boise through Thursday before Boise leaves for a four game series in Spokane.

Boise will be back in town June 25-30 for three games against Eugene and then three vs. Salem-Keizer.
