All the controversy has come to an end over this whole "who has the best spicy chicken sandwich" saga that's been going on for two years. Lines across parking lots at Popeyes locations, chick-fil-a employees gone rogue, Taco Bell's newly announced flatbread spicy chicken taco, KFC coming in to the fold way late which is weird considering their whole thing is fried chicken. All that, my friends... Is for the birds.
The best spicy chicken sandwich in the world can be found at Tupelo Honey on 8th Street, Downtown Boise. This spicy chicken sandwich takes the whole game to a new level, just look at it! This is a spicy chicken sandwich complete with a fried egg (fried eggs make any burger or sandwich better, it's a fact), sriracha, HONEY (a sriracha honey glaze), bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles fancy cheese, and it's presentation... HOLY MOLY! This doesn't come in a hot bag or paper wrapper, it's too luxurious for that, and it's right down the street in Boise!
Shout out to the Boise Food Critic for sharing this gem. I've been trying so hard to eat healthy and get in better shape before summertime and now that I've seen this and know it exists, I don't know that I will have the will power to stay away!
