Washington State QB Found Dead

Tyler Hilinski is the quarterback who came off the bench against Boise State and led Washington State from a 21 point deficit to a 47-44 win in double overtime. The 21 year old sophomore threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns after replacing starter Luke Falk.
Hilinski was the apparent replacement for Falk. Tuesday Hilinski was found dead in his apartment from an apparent self inflicted gun shot wound.
Cougar teammates tweeted today their feeling of loss and helplessness that there was nothing they could do to prevent Hilinski's suicide.

Hilinski was discovered dead in his apartment after missing practice and police say a rifle and a suicide note were found near his body.
Teammates are devastated they couldn't be there for him when needed the most but claim they never really saw this coming. .
