The Shocking, Taboo Thing Idaho Falls and Meridian Have In Common

Do you ever just be bored on the Internet and start searching for random things that lead to other random things? Then those things spiral you down a worm hole of other things, and eventually you find yourself on an obscure site reading about the mating habits of deep sea angler fish? I’m embarrassed to say that happens to me often. I think I should take it as a sign to get off my laptop and go outside more. But it’s too late. I’ve already stumbled across something I definitely wasn’t looking for, as evidenced by the fact that I was using my work laptop.

Apparently PornHub has categories dedicated to the “hot” women of Idaho Falls and Meridian. If this doesn’t surprise you, I know you frequent these subcategories on the site. If this does surprise you, we are in the same boat! Now, I’m obviously not going to insert a link to this; you can search for this on your own if you like. But I’m definitely curious as to how this came to be.

Generally speaking, Idaho is a conservative state. And I’m not naive to think that means people here aren’t watching porn. I guess I just assumed that means they’d keep it under wraps as much as possible. But who am I to know anything? I’ve only recently discovered the kink scene in Boise (not personally).

I just know I’m definitely not looking at the people of Meridian and Idaho Falls the same ever again. There will forever be a part of me that thinks they are slightly cooler than the rest of us.
