Minimum wage in Idaho is $7.25, a price that hasn't increased since 2014. It's not looking like any changes are being made as a state but businesses within our state are offering a higher pay and hiring!

I've heard of several businesses in the Treasure Valley who pay well above the state's minimum wage and now Target is adding themselves to the list of higher paying positions.

We all know how I feel about Target. Well, let's just say that I shop there so often, I'm on my second RedCard (saving that 5% everytime) and Target sends me gifts.

When the motherland makes a move, I tend to lean in their direction. I mean, it's almost Christmastime - the season where I almost literally move into the store to make sure I don't miss anything holiday related.

I digress.

If you're working for Target or interested in working for Target, prepare for your bank account to grow. Target announced that it will raise its minimum hourly wage to $11 next month (October 2017) and will rise to $15 by the end of 2020.

Want to get in on this pay? Target is preparing to hire more than 100,000 hourly workers for the holiday season.
