Rocky Mountain Remains No.1 in Prep Basketball
The latest 5A Idaho High School basketball media poll is out and with 9 of the 10 first place votes, Rocky Mountain remains number one at 15-1 overall.
Ironically the other first place vote went to Coeur d'Alene who isn't even in the top five!
Madison at 13-2 in second followed by 14-2 Rigby, 13-3 Borah and Post Falls at 12-6.

Borah is 10-2 in 5A SIC play while Meridian is 8-5 following their 55-50 win over Mountain View last night in the battle for the "Stinky Sneaker." The game was played in front of a packed house at Mountain View. The battle for the Stinky Sneaker has taken on a life of it's own since the idea was brought up to encourage student competition between the two schools.
Girls Basketball
In girls basketball Mountain View improved to 19-0 with a 75-40 win over Centennial. The Lady Mavs are tops in the current 5A media poll.
Meantime in a battle for third place in the 5A SIC standings Boise held off Timberline 42-40. The Braves now 13-4 and Timberline 12-5. Eagle remains second at 14-3.
