Idaho Prep Basketball Polls Stay Steady

New week same tune in the 5A State high school basketball polls. In girls play no one seems to have an answer for Mountain View. The lady Mavs are 17-0 and received all 10 first place votes from the media across Idaho.

Lake City 16-2, Timberline 13-4, Eagle 14-3 and Boise 13-4 complete the top five.

At 12-0 in league and 14-1 overall the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies are #1 but not unanimous. Rocky received 7 of 10 first place votes with Madison, Rigby and Post Falls each receiving a first place vote.

Ironically, Post Falls did not make the top five indicating their first place vote may well have been a little bit of a "homer" vote.

Madison is second at 11-2 followed by Rigby 12-2, Borah 12-3 after beating Capital 64-40 Wednesday night and Coeur d'Alene 9-3 is fifth.
