You thought single game tickets going on sale this morning was exciting? This announcement blows ticket sales out of the water!

If you've been to a Boise State game, how many times have you been guilty of cheering your lungs out in the first half, only to never walk back into Albertsons Stadium during the second half? If you're watching the games on TV, it's fairly obvious that Bronco Nation thins out inside the stadium after halftime.

Sometimes it's because Boise State is already crushing their opponent (something we hope they continue to do.) Other times, it's because Bronco fans want to enjoy a beer during the game and the only place they can do that is in the tailgate lot.

Well, that ends when the 2021 first home game of the season kicks off against UTEP on September 10. On Monday, new Boise State athletic director, Jeremiah Dickey, announced that alcohol sales will be available inside Albertsons Stadium during the 2021 season.

Like other food and beverage vendors at the games, alcohol will be available at kiosks inside the stadium and in the Fan Zone.

Alcohol Sales ALMOST Happened in 2020

Before Boise State officially said no to in-person fans during the 2020 season, they were going to enforce a no re-entry policy. They were planning to sell beer and seltzer in the main concession areas so fans didn't feel the need to leave the game at half time.

In the past, alcohol has only been served in the main stadium during the Basque Soccer Friendly and Garth Brooks concerts.
