McNichols Listed 90th by NFL Scouts
April is NFL Draft month and 630 The Fan will be at Buffalo Wild Wings at the Grove in downtown Boise April 27th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and we invite you to come join us.
When it comes to Boise State prospects there are only five this year and only one has cracked the list of top 200 and that's BSU running back Jeremy McNichols whose overall rank is #90.
McNichols is the 9th rated running back in the draft but the scout reports have been somewhat harsh. NFL scouts say McNichols lacks the speed to break the long run and needs a solid offensive line to be effective. They do believe McNichols has some promise as a pass catcher but that he lacks in pass protection. McNichols left the Broncos after his junior season and is recovering from shoulder surgery.
Other Boise State players being mentioned as possible draftees are wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck who had a great pro day last week when 26 NFL scouts came to the Boise State campus.
Lineman Travis Averill and Mario Yakoo, linebacker Tanner Vallejo and cornerback Jonathan Moxey are the other Boise State players hoping to hear their name called on April 27th.
We'll keep you posted on changes as the draft nears and again invite you to join 630 The Fan at the new Buffalo Wild Wings on the Grove in Boise for an NFL Draft Party April 27th..
