Ten times in the past former Green Bay Packer offensive lineman, Idaho Vandal; and Idaho native Jerry Krammer has been nominated for the NFL Hall of Fame.

Ten times he has missed out! Now, for the first time in 20 years Krammer is a finailist as a senior nominee, a category added in 1972 for players whose careers ended at least 25 years ago.

Krammer was also a senior finalist in 1997, twenty years ago!

Krammer, who was drafted in 1958 played 11 seasons for the Packers, won two Super Bowls and five NFL titles, was all pro 5 times and in 1969 was named to the NFL's 50th All Anniversary team, the only non member of the Hall of Fame named to the team.

Krammers most famous block sprung QB Bart Starr for a game winning touchdown in the Ice Bowl.

We'll keep our fingers crossed that this is Krammer's time to enter the NFL Hall of Fame.
