If you've ever wandered through a Walmart between October 19, 2018, and January 19, 2024, digging through bins of oranges or weighing the pros and cons of pork vs. poultry, there's a chance Walmart owes you money.

In what sounds like the plot of a modern David vs. Goliath, Walmart has agreed to pay $45 million in a class-action lawsuit settlement. Walmart might have been too eager with its pricing of these weighted goods, and now, it's paying the price.

Attest to buying up to 50 items, and bam, you're $10 richer. Assert your way up to more than 101 items, and you're looking at a whopping $25. That's almost enough for a celebratory dinner (if you cook at home and drink water).

But wait, there's more. If you're one of those organized souls who keeps receipts, you could get back 2% of the total cost of your substantiated purchases, with a maximum payout of $500. Now, I'm no mathematician, but that sounds like a lot of oranges.
