The same goes for Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Kuna...you get the idea!

According to the Motley Fool, the cost of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for at least 10 people costs Americans about $50. That price tag includes a 16-pound turkey and the ingredients for basic side dishes like stuffing, yams, cranberry sauce and dessert.  (Where are you people shopping and are you couponing to save money?! $50 seems like a steal.)

If you're the Thanksgiving chef, your mission is to get in and get out of the grocery store with those ingredients as fast as possible and without forgetting anything.  What day are you planning on doing that?  If you're hoping to make Thanksgiving grocery shopping quick and stress free, the experts say you should avoid grocery stores like the plague on Tuesday, November 20. You may think that you've outsmarted everyone and beat the last minute rush, but author Michael Ruhlman tells Fox News the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving attracts the biggest and most hectic crowds.

You best bet is to do all of your shopping toward the end of the week before Turkey Day.  That ensures that your fresh veggies and turkey will still be good on November 22 and that you don't run into stores being out of the ingredients you really need for what you're whipping up in the kitchen!
