Boise State and Idaho Women Advance in Post Season Play
Boise State has advanced to it's third consecutive Mountain West women's basketball championship game while the Idaho Vandals have advanced to the Big Sky women's semi finals.
The Broncos beat Fresno State late Wednesday in Las Vegas 89-77 as Marta Hermida scored 30 points.
The top seeded Boise State broncos will play 3rd seed Wyoming tonight at 8 p.m. for the Mountain West Post season title and a trip to the NCAA tournament. This is BSU's fourth post season title game in the last five seasons.
At the Big Sky Tournament in Boise the top seeded Idaho Vandals will play Portland State in the semi finals tonight at 5:30 p.m.
Yesterday Idaho beat Northern Arizona led by Taylor Pierce's 31 points. She knocked down six three pointers and now has 138 trey's on the year the most in the nation.
The Big Sky women's title game is set for Friday at noon in Century Link Arena.
