Bishop Kelly’s Maddie Sheils Named Assistant Golf Coach at Stanford

Maddie Sheils, a Bishop Kelly grad has been named an assistant golf coach at Stanford University.

After leaving the Knights, Sheils played for the University of Nebraska where she graduated with a degree in philosophy.

In 2017 Sheils joined the LPGA circuit but that is an incredibly hard road to make work. In fact her career earns are just over $52,000.

At Stanford Sheils will be able to continue her career in golf and one aspect of that is A "hole in one"...the pay checks will come on a steady basis!
