Let me preface all of this by saying that I don't have any kids of my own. I am a dog mom. I don't know what it's like to care for a human child and I certainly don't know what goes into picking the perfect name. Heck, choosing a name for my dog was difficult enough.

We did have a name picked out until we went to the vet and they asked us what his name was. Sure, we had played around with ideas. However, the name Oliver (or "Ollie" for short) seemed to just roll off the tongue.
