Sole Swap Announced: Boise’s Largest Sneaker Convention

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to check out the newest shop at the Boise Towne Square Mall-- Kicks N Bricks. The shop is a full blown, sneaker-head HEAVEN. They've got shoes on their wall for sale that a lot of people only see online. The team that conceptualized the store literally works around the clock to keep shelves stocked with the hottest clothes and most importantly: kicks. I was blown away by the energy of this team and little did I know that their shop, a popular shoe destination in town, is actually up to a whole lot more for our city.

Enter 'Sole Swap' -- Boise's largest sneaker convention. To be honest, I don't recall ever seeing anything like this and on this large of a scale come to the Treasure Valley before. I've never considered myself a 'sneaker head' but I DO appreciate some fresh kicks. Whether you're like me or you've got a closet full of sneakers like our guy DJ Complex--THIS event is for you.

Sole Swap is going to be held on Saturday, February 27th and Sunday February 28th from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. each day at the Revolution Concert House.

At the event, there is going to be THOUSANDS of pairs (literally) of shoes--many of these are going to be rare. Kicks you may not have ever seen in Boise before. Have a pair you want to sell? There will be an option for you to do that at the event as well. I love the the guys over at Kicks N Bricks are fully trained to identify counterfeit shoes as well--so make sure to take advantage of that if you're in the market to buy! Shoes like this can get expensive and you don't want to waste your hard earned cash.

Hype shoes? Got them.. like Jordan's, Yeezy's, Dunks and Off Whites!  Clothes? Everything from Supreme to Bape.

Full disclosure, this is going to be THE trendiest event we've seen here in the Treasure Valley in a while and I can't wait to check it out.

Admission is $15 at the door for everyone ages 12 and up. The guys from Kicks N Bricks have also stashed away some tickets for us to hook you up with, too--so make sure your ears are on KISS FM and your eyes are glued to our Instagram!
