The Viral Artist Who Shook America Announces Idaho Concert Date
When we say 'viral sensation', who comes to mind?
The Idaho guy that rode his longboard to Fleetwood Mac and drank cranberry juice? Or that weird guy that wore a hat and said over and over again: 'I'm a snake'?
To each their own when it comes to what's funny and what's viral--but you may recognize one familiar face--or voice--that went viral back in 2023.
Election chatter was ramping up and a guy with his guitar, in the middle of the woods, sang a song he had written that he hoped would 'give hope' to the average working-class American that may have lost that hope, along the way.
Message. Received.
With over 200 million views to date, Oliver Anthony sang to the core of America.
Recognize this guy??
Would you consider yourself a lover of country music? Good news--there are a LOT of shows coming to Idaho that will be right up your alley this year!

Which of those are you most excited to see?
Perhaps you're most excited to see Oliver Anthony--who after all of this time, will be touring across America, singing his hit 'Rich Men of North Richmond' along with his collection of other songs.
Anthony shares on his website how going 'viral' or 'blowing up' in the music industry was never a goal of his:
People in the music industry give me blank stares when I brush off 8 million dollar offers. I don’t want 6 tour buses, 15 tractor trailers and a jet. I don’t want to play stadium shows, I don’t want to be in the spotlight. I wrote the music I wrote because I was suffering with mental health and depression.
And continues...
These songs have connected with millions of people on such a deep level because they’re being sung by someone feeling the words in the very moment they were being sung. No editing, no agent, no bullshit. Just some idiot and his guitar. The style of music that we should have never gotten away from in the first place.
It's going to be a fun night--not only seeing the viral sensation in person but to take in live music, with deep messages that clearly resonate with many.
As politicians tried to make his song fit their narrative on the campaign trail, he was quick to point out he has major issues with 'both sides' and called off their cannibalization of his song.
See Oliver Anthony LIVE, at the Boise Knitting Factory in downtown Boise on July 20th, 2025!
Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 11th, at 10:00 a.m.
